Intern - Specialist / SME

Pain & Company is seeking focused, detail-driven candidates for the position of Intern – Subject Matter Expert.

This track is designed for individuals whose primary engagement centers around a specific fetish interest — latex, feet, footwear, materials, scent, texture, ritualized admiration, or other concentrated fixations.

Subject Matter Experts are valued for depth, not breadth.

This role does not require heavy power exchange.

The SME Intern functions as:

• A specialist in aesthetic or sensory fixation
• A devoted participant in fetish-centered ritual
• An asset whose intensity elevates the experience

• Maintain presence and attentiveness during fetish-centered experiences
• Provide materials required for fetish-related research activities
• Demonstrate deep appreciation for chosen fixation
• Articulate what draws you to your specialty
• Participate fully in rituals or presentation-based experiences
• Remain respectful of professional boundaries

Successful Fetish Interns demonstrate:

• Strong attention to visual and tactile detail
• Genuine enthusiasm for specific materials, body parts, or presentation styles
• Emotional steadiness
• Knowledge of niche fetish subcultures
• Willingness to invest in personal grooming or attire to complement the aesthetic
• Ability to articulate why a particular fixation is meaningful

• 20+
• Clear, specific fetish interest
• Respect for professional boundaries
• Financial readiness for ongoing participation
• Clear understanding that this is consensual adult power exchange

• Strong aesthetic sensitivity
• Comfort with ritualized observation
• Long attention span
• Pride in devotion

Monthly Contribution: $100/month — gifted toward Leadership's lifestyle desires (i.e. pilates, silversmithing expenses, etc.). Submitted on the 1st of each month. It is an ongoing expression of participation in her world.

Interns begin under the standard 3-6 Month Evaluation Period (period dependent upon negotiation).

Session Intern Rate: ‍

90 min - $650 ($150 savings)

2 hrs - $800 ($200 savings)

3 hrs -$1,100 ($300 savings)

4 hrs - $1,400 ($400 savings)

‍Booking Structure:

-Sessions are booked in pairs, spaced no more than 45 days apart. Deposits for both sessions are submitted in advance before the first session is confirmed.

Evaluation Period: 

‍3–6 months, negotiated at placement. A minimum of 4 completed sessions is required before promotion eligibility is considered.

During this period, Leadership is assessing:

• Reliability
• Financial discipline and responsiveness
• Chemistry
• Capacity for growth

At the conclusion of the internship, Leadership will determine:

• Continuation at Intern level
• Invitation to apply for Associate placement
• Or termination of employment and potential transition into Client track

Promotion is contingent on sustained devotion and consistency.

Fetish Interns may advance to:

• Associate – Aesthetic (monthly structured devotion container)
• Senior Associate – Aesthetic (expanded access to curated presentation)
• Curated Patron (invite-only tier)
